FABARM is working for now more than 2 years on this project with the objective to introduce the first pieces on the market during the last 2009 quarter. The IRIS presentation during these large fairs gave to FABARM the opportunity to speak with the consumers, the dealers, the importers and to confirm its main specifications. All these people were full of enthusiasm ! So we can already tell you that IRIS will have interchangeable barrels which cover all the needs from the small 223 Rem to the strong 9,3 X 62, of course with all the most popular calibers, short magnum calibers included !

Because SAFETY is a key word for FABARM , IRIS has a manual cocking system. IRIS has 3 locking lugs for a fast reloading movement and it has a drop down magazine with different capacity - even extended. The IRIS shape is like all the recent FABARM weapons extremely modern and innovative, it has a perfect balance and a well studied weight and ergonomics. In terms of accuracy its German forged barrel will be a reference!
